Working in teams is a characteristic of high performing companies. People work effectively in teams and rely on each other to get the best results; therefore it is essential to learn how to work closely beyond differences, with others in order to establish clear and fair relationships. Regardless of the business or industry type, bottom line will certainly soar when teamwork is evident among the employees at all levels

Nothing could emphasize and drive the importance of Team Cohesiveness other than getting the participants themselves to experience it. Many regard teambuilding programs as just two or three days training. What they actually fail to see is that, this is where the employees get an opportunity to mingle with each other beyond work relationships and boundaries. Statistics have proven that staff explore and get to know each other better in events and circumstances not related to work. Once this “subtle” ice is broken, the employees will understand the “non-work side” of their colleagues and this is what actually creates the bond. Having turned colleagues into friends, their tolerance, sense of urgency, understanding and sense of helping each other, is naturally greater towards their “newly found friends”.

DURATION The teambuilding can be 1 day, 2d / 1n or 3d / 2n, depending on the cleint’s requirement.

Dr Maria Rufina is a Corporate Training Strategist and Entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of ACE Biznez Academy Sdn Bhd and ACE Biznez Services, and also the President of OXCEL (Oxford Centre for Leadership, UK). Her 18 years journey of entrepreneurship began in 2002, where she founded QPAC Business Consultant which she had added value from scratch and has transferred ownership. Prior to this, Maria was a QA Manager cum Training Manager of an Electronics Manufacturing company and that serves multinational giants and conglomerates, after which, she was head hunted to become General Manager of a renowned Training company then.

Todate, she has trained over 50,000 people both locally and internationally across various industries including Oil & Gas and the government sectors and aviation; specializing in the scope of Leadership, Strategy, Performance Management & Personal Empowerment and Teambuilding. She also embarks on consultancy services in the area of organizational development . She has rendered her services in various countries namely Oman, Dubai, Arab Saudi, Bahrain, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore and Thailand. In view of her effective training.

Some of her notable achievements include becoming the ASEAN Outstanding Women Entrepreneur 2016, Winner of “Professional Award” by Malaysian Indian Business Council – Women Achievers Award, SME Rising Star Award and SME Corp Star rating for her company-QPAC, and leading the companies she was in, towards obtaining the ISO Certification.

Her professional qualification include Certified Professional Facilitator from IAF, USA, Certified Workplace Assessment, Cert IV from Australia, Fellow of IPMA (UK) , Fellow of OXCEL (UK), Certified Virtual Trainer by ESync Learning and DRB Hicom University. Maria also sits in the council and board of NGOs namely Board of Governing Councils in the Malaysian Institute of Retirement Management (MIRM) and she is the Founder and Advisor of MiWEPs, a national women organization that currently has 700 members from all over Malaysia.

Glen Richards is a certified PSMB trainer. He is an experienced and qualified Marketing and Sales person with enormous experience in the Logistics and Supply Chain management. Being in this industry for almost 15 years, coupled with the ever changing requirements of the industry, this has enable him to open and widen his perceptions to a large spectrum of people.

During his employee days, Glen, has held various managerial positions. His last managerial post was the Senior Manager of a second board logistical company. In his managerial capacity, in an industry which deals with a wide range of people and a high level of stress to succeed, this has enable him to understand the needs and requirements of change in companies to suite the ever changing local and global scenario. He believes that with the need of companies to change, the staffs must not be left out, as they are the assets of any company.

What spurred him to change his profession was, while dealing with his staffs, he noticed that he is able to assist them in their future development, this enabled him to find his calling and that was the turning point in his career. With the ability to visualize what is to come, he is able to conduct Effective and Objective based programmes very successfully.

As a firm believer of “fun with yourself and with others”, it has assisted him in his presentation styles. He believes that through fun, all elements of the learning faculty is enhanced, the stress level reduced and the retention periods for any form of input is prolonged.
